Should My Wedding be Videotaped?
One of the biggest regrets
couples experience after their wedding is the decision not to have professional
video. Imagine enjoying your wedding a second time after you get back from
your honeymoon. Imagine preserving your special day on a DVD that will last
over 100 years. Imagine if your parents, or your grandparents had been able
to preserver their wedding day on digital video. Don't let this once in a
lifetime event go without being “preserved” for
the future.
Why should I hire a professional when my uncle can tape it for free?
A video camera purchased from any local electronics retail store is not
a professional quality video camera. Furthermore, they suffer from poor audio,
shaky images (from improper usage) and low battery capacity. Your wedding
is not the 4 th of July fireworks, it is a once in a lifetime event. Let
your uncle enjoy the wedding and let professional videographers capture your
special day. There is no substitute for a professional who comes prepared
with the right knowledge, the right equipment, respect for your ceremony,
and focus on creating a beautiful wedding video.
What style of wedding videography is your specialty?
We specialize in creative wedding videos. The videographers and editors at influx media have bachelor of fine arts degrees in film and video. They were taught to think creatively and a little bit differently for that special project. Many videographers come from a TV background and may possibly lack the creative thinking that makes a video special.
How much will our video cost?
Influx media LLC offers a variety of packages for those on a budget and
those that would like complete coverage. Please check out the packages portion
of this website and feel free to contact us if you have any questions on
our prices and/or packages.
How long is the wedding video we will receive?
Our lettered packages include an edited video on videotape and/or DVD that is approximately 30 minutes to an hour long. The maximum length is dependent on the wedding ceremony and reception. Length does not mean quality. We edit our wedding videos with “flow” in mind. Our videos have a creative flow from beginning to end.
What kind of equipment do you use?
Your wedding is captured with one or two professional digital video cameras, professional audio equipment, and professional camera stabilizers (for the best possible image). All this equipment is creatively used by professional experienced and educated videographers. Your wedding is edited on state of the art digital non-linear editing machines and never leaves the digital domain (until it goes to VHS; DVD is pure digital and the best option).
Are you unobtrusive at the wedding?
We dress for the occasion and do not utilize distracting equipment during the ceremony and the reception. There are no wires running on the ground at the ceremony or reception for our equipment. We use wireless microphones, battery powered cameras and handheld stabilizers and tripods.
Do you attend the rehearsal?
Yes! Planning is one of the largest aspects of capturing your wedding. We attend the rehearsal to get ideas and plan out the shoot for the actual wedding. This assures that we are prepared for the special day and that filming goes smoothly.
